B. Definitions

B.1 An ”Error” is a mistake, misprint, misreading, misinterpretation, mishearing, mistranslation, spelling mistake, technical hazard, registration error, transaction error, manifest error, force majeure and/or similar. Examples of an Error include, but are not limited to:

  • bets placed on events/offers that have already been decided;
  • bets containing incorrect participants;
  • bets accepted during technical problems that would otherwise not have been accepted;
  • bets placed at odds that are materially different from those available in the general market at the time the bet was placed;
  • bets offered at odds which reflect an incorrect score or else;
  • obviously incorrect odds at the time the bet was placed.

B.2 “Influence Betting” is an act, prohibited by kwiff, where an account holder, or parties acting in association with an account holder, can influence the outcome of a match or an event – directly or indirectly.

B.3 “Syndicate Betting” is an act, prohibited by kwiff, where account holders act together to place a series of bets on the same event or competition.

B.4 “Regular Time” or “Full Time” is defined as interpreted by the official rules published by the respective governing association. For example, in football, Full Time is stipulated to be 90 minutes plus injury time but excluding extra time or penalties. Should the governing association decide to stipulate, before the start of the event, that the said event is to be played over a different duration, this will be treated as being the official rules for the event. Regular Time or Full Time does not include any prolongation (extra time or overtime), unless explicitly stated in the bet offer.

B.5 “Live Betting” is the possibility to bet during an ongoing match or event.

B.6 “Walkover” is the awarding of a victory because there are no other contestants; the other contestants have been disqualified; or, have forfeited.

B.7 “Each Way Betting” – are settled to win unless Each Way is selected. An Each Way bet is a bet of twice the selected unit stake. It contains one bet of unit stake on the selection to Win and one bet of unit stake on the selection to be Placed.

B.8 “Duckworth Lewis Method or DLS Method” The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score for the team batting second in a limited overs cricket match interrupted by weather or other circumstances.

C. Bet Acceptance

C.1 Bet acceptance occurs when a unique bet ID has been issued and the bet is reflected in the account history. To check if a bet has been accepted, visit the “My Bets” section of the App where details of all accepted bets are displayed.

C.2 Unless accepted in Error by kwiff, once accepted, a bet will remain valid and cannot be cancelled by you. It is your responsibility to ensure details of the bet are correct before placing the bet.

C.3 Should a dispute arise about the acceptance (or lack of) of any transaction in your account, the transaction log database will be the ultimate authority in deciding such matters.

C.4 The payout/potential payout value displayed when a bet is placed is for information only. For accumulator bets, where a selection is made void, the payout value will be reduced accordingly.

C.5 The kick-off time shown on the App is to be treated for information purposes only. kwiff reserves the right, at its own discretion, to suspend the betting activity at any time where it deems necessary.

C.6 Information referring to (but not limited to) gender, age, teams and/or participants is to be treated as supplementary information of which the availability and correctness cannot be treated as sufficient cause to void bets related to the match/event.

C.7 Statistics or other text/information shown on the App are to be considered as added information. kwiff does not acknowledge or accept any liability whatsoever if the information is not correct. At all times it is your responsibility to be aware of circumstances relating to an event.

D. Betting and Payout Limitations

D.1 kwiff reserves the right to limit the maximum payout on any bet or combination of bets by one account holder to £50,000 per day excluding the original stake.

D.2 kwiff reserves the right to decline any bet requested if, by accepting the bet, it would be in breach of these rules and/or kwiff’s terms and conditions.

D.3 kwiff reserves the right to withhold payment on an event (or series of events), if there is sufficient evidence that any of the following has occurred:

  • the integrity of the event has been called into question;
  • match-rigging has taken place, or the match is under investigation for such;
  • the price(s) has been manipulated.

Evidence of the above may be based on the volume, size or pattern of bets placed with kwiff as well as information received from other betting providers or officially recognised organisations.

D.4 All bets placed can be subject to a time delay prior to acceptance (the length of which may vary). Such delay is determined by kwiff at its sole discretion.

D.5 Where there is evidence of account holders acting together as a Syndicate, kwiff reserves the right to make the relevant bets void and/or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of subsequent investigations.

D.6 kwiff does not acknowledge or accept any liability whatsoever if it is not possible to place a bet or if the live score update (or any other related statistics and/or information) is not correct. At all times it is your responsibility to be aware of the status of the match and the events surrounding it such as the current score, its progression and how much time remains before the match is completed. kwiff does not accept any liability for changes to the Live Betting schedule or interruption of the Live Betting service.

E. Cancellation (Voiding) of Bets

E.1 A bet can be declared void, and in such circumstance, the initial stake will be returned. No stake will be returned for Surprise or Free bets.

E.2 kwiff reserves the right, at its own discretion, to declare a bet void, totally or partly, if in kwiff’s view and solely at kwiff’s discretion any of the following circumstances have occurred:

  • bets have been offered, placed and/or accepted due to an error;
  • syndicate betting;
  • influence betting;
  • a result has been affected by criminal actions;

  • bets placed while the App was encountering technical problems, that would otherwise not have been accepted.

E.3 All bets accepted in the following circumstances will be declared void:

Pre-match betting

  • betting effected after the event has started;

  • betting effected after a related event was underway and where conditions could have been altered in a direct and indisputable way.

Livebetting

  • betting where an incorrect price is given due to delayed or failing live coverage;
  • betting where offered odds reflected a different score than the actual;

  • betting made possible on particular offers after they have occurred, or else after an event which could normally be deemed as leading to the outcome has happened or is happening (e.g. bets placed on offers such as Next Goal Scorer while a penalty has been awarded, or is being taken).

E.4 In case of any error, bets can be voided and the stake returned to the customer regardless of whether they have been settled or not and regardless of whether they have been kwiffed or not.

E.5 Where one or more selections of an accumulator bet is made void, the bet will stand on all remaining selections. Where an accumulator bet has been kwiffed and one or more selections is made void, the new accumulated odds of the remaining selections will receive a new supercharge, of which the value will be at kwiff’s sole discretion.

E.6 Where one or more selections of an accumulator bet is pending settlement, the entire bet will remain unsettled.

E.7 Accumulator bets which combine different selections within the same event or selections of events with the same participants are not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other. Although kwiff takes all necessary steps to prevent such possibilities, in the eventuality that this would happen, kwiff reserves the right, solely at its own discretion, to declare void all parts of the accumulator bet which include the correlated outcomes.

F. Result Settlement

F.1 All bets are settled on results published by the relevant sport’s official governing body after the match/event is finished. If no official result is available after a match/event has finished, kwiff reserves the right to await official confirmation of the result and therefore delay settlement for up to 48 hours. If a result is not confirmed after 48 hours then all bets will be void.

F.2 All bets are settled based on results at the end of “Regular Time” or “Full Time” only and do not include any prolongation (extra time/overtime and/or penalty shootouts where applicable), unless explicitly stated in the bet offer.

F.3 Bets on participants which are disqualified before the start of an event will be made void. Bets on participants which are disqualified during an event will be settled as losing bets.

F.4 Bets on cancelled events (i.e not taking place at all) will be void.

F.5 When calculating bets settlements, kwiff will use the decimal format by default. This will be irrespective of customer preferred settings.

F.6 Dead Heat rules apply for Outright markets. A dead heat is when two or more competitors tie for a position in an event. In these cases we will use a dead heat void factor based on the number of positions tied for divided by number of competitors tied in that position. For example, a football competition has 2 players tied for tournament top goalscorer, in this situation the stake would be divided by the number of participants in the dead heat. If you have £10 bet at 1/1 on a top goalscorer market and the player

Dead Heats for first place with another player, then your betting stake is reduced to £5. You are returned £10 (eg: £5 win at 1/1 = £5 + £5 stake returned = £10 returns to you).

F.7 Bets on Outright Markets where a participant is named as part of a tournament, but then withdraws prior to the tournament beginning are considered active and would be resulted as lost.

FOOTBALL

F.8 Bets on matches where the result is awarded through a Walkover will be made void.

F.9 Only occurrences which have been acknowledged by match officials will count towards bet settlement.

F.10 Bets will stand if a match kicks-off earlier that the originally stated kick-off time/date.

F.11 Bets will stand where a match is postponed and rescheduled by the governing association to start within 48 hours of the original kick-off time stated. Bets will be void where the match is not started within 48 hours of the original kick-off time.

F.12 Bets will stand when a match is abandoned before the statutory time has been completed and then restarted within 48 hours of the original kick-off time. If the match is not restarted within 48 hours then all bets will be void except for markets where the outcome has already been determined. If the governing association declares the result at the time of abandonment as final, bets will be settled on this decision.

F.13 Bets apply to the standard 90 minutes of play unless otherwise stated. The standard 90 minutes of play include added injury/stoppage time but does not include extra-time, penalty shootout or golden goal.

F.14 Friendly matches are settled on the actual result when the game finishes regardless of whether the standard 90 minutes has been played.

F.15 Bets on “Team To Go Through” and “Trophy Winner”, are settled on the result after extra time, penalty shootout or golden goal (if needed to decide which team will go through).

F.16 Bets on “Extra Time” and “Total Goals – Extra Time” are settled on the result during extra time and do not include the standard 90 minutes of play including injury/stoppage time unless otherwise stated.

F.17 In the case of a venue change, all bets will stand.

F.18 For bets on “Next Goal”, “Both Teams To Score” and “First Goal” markets, own goals count to the side credited with the goal.

F.19 Own goals will not be considered for First Goalscorer settlement purposes and are ignored.

F.20 All players who took part in the match since kick-off or previous goal are considered as runners.

F.21 In the case of ambiguity over the official result from match officials, the outcome will be determined by kwiff (acting reasonably) using information from independent sources.

F.22 Markets will be settled based on statistics provided by the Press Association unless there is clear evidence that these statistics are not correct.

F.23 All players who are currently taking part are listed. If for any reason an unlisted player scores a goal all bets on listed players stand.

F.24 All pre-match bets on anytime goalscorer where the player is not then in the squad or stays on the bench for the entire match will be made void. All in-play bets on anytime goalscorer where the player stays on the bench for the entire match will be made void.

F.25 All bets on first goalscorer where the player is not in the squad, stays on the bench for the entire match, or is substituted into the game after the first goal has already been scored will be made void.

F.26 All bets on last goalscorer where the player is not in the squad, stays on the bench for the entire match or is substituted out of the match before the last goal is scored will be made void.

F.27 For Outright Top Goalscorer Markets, only goals scored during the standard 90 minutes of play and any Extra Time in addition to regular time count. Goals scored during penalty shootouts are ignored.

F.28 On Wincast bets if a player comes on after a goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, all selections involving that player will be void.

F.29 Own goals do not count for the first goalscorer part of the Wincast, but do count towards the match result.

F.30 Own goals do not count towards the anytime goalscorer market on Wincast betting.

F.31 Own goals do not count for the first goalscorer part of the Wincast, but do count towards the match result. If the only goals in the match are own goals, all bets on the market will be void.

F.32 If the match is abandoned after a goal has been scored, all bets on the market will be void.

F.33 Own goals do not count towards the scorecast, so should the first goal be an own goal your scorecast bet would carry over to the next goal scorer.To the extent that a video assistant referee is consulted, the event which led to the referral will, for the purposes of these rules, be deemed to have occurred at the actual time of its occurrence (rather than the time on which the relevant referral, or decision, was made).

F.34 Booking Markets:

Booking Points markets are calculated as 10 points for a yellow card and a further 25 points for a second yellow card resulting in a red card. Straight red cards are 25 points.

All bets are settled on events that occur in normal time including any injury/stoppage time added on by the match official at the end of normal time. Extra time does not count towards the booking points total.

Only red or yellow cards shown to active players currently on the field of play prior to the final whistle will count. Cards issued retrospectively following a VAR review at half time count. Cards issued after the final whistle is blown following a VAR review, or for any other reason, will not count.

Should a match be abandoned all bets with known outcomes will be settled as won. Bets on other outcomes of the same market will be considered as lost.

Should a match be abandoned, all booking point markets without known outcomes will be made void subject to normal abandoned match rules.

Bets will be settled in accordance with our data service providers. If data is not available from these sources or if there is significant evidence that the data is incorrect, bets will be settled based upon such reputable alternative information sources which are available to us.

Adjustments to settlement will not be made for any changes or adjudications made by governing bodies after the event.

For Total Booking Markets, yellow card counts as 1 card and red or yellow-red card as 2. The 2nd yellow for one player which leads to a yellow-red card is not considered. Consequently, one player cannot cause more than 3 cards.

Settlement will be made according to all available evidence of cards shown during the regular 90 minutes play.

Cards shown after the match are not considered.

Cards for non-players (already substituted players, managers, players on bench) are not considered.

F.35 Player Propositions

All illegal balls count as deliveries. For example, if an over starts with a wide, then the first delivery will be settled as 1 and, although there has not been a legal ball bowled, the next ball will be deemed as delivery 2 for that over.

If a delivery leads to a free hit or a free hit is to be re-bowled because of an illegal delivery, the runs scored off the additional delivery do not count.

All runs, whether off the bat or not are included. For example, a wide with three extra runs taken equates to 4 runs in total off that delivery.

For the Winner market where no draw selection is offered all bets will be considered void in the event of a draw (this includes a fight which ends in a Majority Draw or a Technical Draw).

F.103 1×2 (Fight Result) – Predict the result of the bout. If the fight ends in a Majority Draw or a Technical Draw then Draw will be the winning selection.

F.104 Total Rounds (Over/Under) – Betting on the round in which the fight result will be determined.

For settlement purposes where a half round is stated then 1 minute 30 seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over. Thus, 9.5 rounds would be 1 minute and 30 seconds of the 10th round. If the fight ends at exactly 1 minute 30 seconds of the 10th round then the result would be over 9.5 rounds.

F.105 Winner & exact round – Predict the round in which your selection will win the fight. Betting on winner and exact round is for a fighter to win by KO, TKO or disqualification during that round. Where a boxer fails to answer the bell for the next round, his opponent shall be deemed to have won the contest in the previous round. In the event of a Technical Decision before the end of the fight all bets will be settled as a win by Decision and round bets will be deemed losers.

F.106 Winning Method – Predict the method by which the result of the fight will be decided. All bets will be settled on the official result declared. A win by disqualification is counted as KO/TKO.

F.107 Any fighter to win inside the distance – Predict if the fight will be decided before the scheduled number of rounds. In the event of a technical decision, for settlement purposes, the fight will have been deemed NOT to have gone the distance.

MMA

F.108 All markets are settled according to the result available immediately after the end of the fight. Any subsequent appeals or amendments to the result are not be taken into consideration for settlement purposes.

F.109 If the fight does not take place for any reason on the scheduled date then all bets will be considered void.

F.110 If either fighter fails to answer the bell for the next round then his opponent will be deemed to have won in the previous round.

F.111 Should there be a withdrawal or a substitution of one of the fighters, bets will be considered void.

F.112 In the event of a fight being declared a No Contest all bets will be considered void.

F.113 Should the scheduled number of rounds be changed before the fight then all “Total Rounds”, “Winner and exact rounds” and “Winning Method” bets will be made void.

F.114 Winner (To Win the Fight) – Predict which competitor will win the bout. No draw selection is offered. For the Winner market where no draw selection is offered all bets will be considered void in the event of a draw (this includes a fight which ends in a Majority Draw or a Technical Draw).

F.115 1×2 (Fight Result) – Predict the result of the bout. If the fight ends in a Majority Draw or a Technical Draw then Draw will be the winning selection.

F.116 Total (Over/Under) – Betting on the round in which the fight result will be determined. For settlement purposes where a half round is stated then 2 minutes 30 seconds of the respective round will define the half to determine under or over. Thus, 2.5 rounds would be two minutes and thirty seconds of the 3rd round. If the fight ends at exactly 2 minutes 30 seconds of the 3rd round then the result would be over 2.5 rounds.

F.117 Winning Method – Predict the method by which the result of the fight will be decided.

All bets will be settled on the official result declared. A win by disqualification is counted as KO/TKO.

For the purposes of the Winning Method market, a KO includes the following:

  • referee stoppage due to strikes while either fighter is, or both fighters are, on the canvas;
  • stoppage by doctor;
  • stoppage by a fighter’s corner/team
  • a fighter retires due to injury
  • a win by disqualification

For the purposes of the Winning Method market, a submission includes the following:

  • referee stoppage due to tap-out;
  • referee stoppage due to technical submission
  • a fighter’s verbal submission (including a verbal submission which is made due to strikes).

F.118 Winner & exact rounds – Predict the round in which your selection will win the fight.

Betting on winner and exact round is for a fighter to win by KO, TKO, disqualification or submission during that round or to win by decision.

Where a fighter fails to answer the bell for the next round, his opponent shall be deemed to have won the contest in the previous round. In the event of a Technical Decision before the end of the fight all bets will be settled as a win by Decision and round bets will be deemed losers.

HORSE RACING

Postponed/Re-Scheduled Races:

F.119 – If a race is postponed or re-scheduled, either to later in the day or to another day and final declarations stand then bets stand. However, single bets on horse racing will be made void and any selection involved in accumulative bets will be treated as a non-runner if:

The race is abandoned.

The race is officially declared void.

The conditions of the race are altered after bets are made (as defined under Tattersalls rules).

The venue is altered.

The running surface is altered (e.g. Turf to Dirt/All Weather or vice versa).

Each Way Betting:

F.120 – Bets are settled to win unless Each Way is selected.

An Each Way bet is a bet of twice the selected unit stake. It contains one bet of unit stake on the selection to Win and one bet of unit stake on the selection to be Placed according to the terms advertised for the event unless a bet is Supercharged, if a bet is Supercharged a new place price will be given for the place part of the bet.

In general, for UK horse racing the Place part of Each Way bets will be settled as per the following Place terms:

Handicaps of 16 or more runners, one quarter the odds, first four places.

Handicaps of 12 to 15 runners, one quarter the odds, first three places.

All other races of 8 or more runners, one fifth the odds, first three places.

Races of 5, 6 or 7 runners, one quarter the odds, first two places.

Less than 5 runners, the place money is invested to Win.

F.121 – In all races the number of runners shall be the number of runners coming under starters orders.

F.122 – Bets will not be accepted where the Place stake exceeds the Win stake.

F.123 – Each Way doubles, trebles and accumulators will be settled Win to Win and Place to Place in accordance with the above.

Although these are the standard each-way terms, for some races we may offer either an enhanced number of places and/or change the fractional terms. For the avoidance of doubt, the place terms displayed on the site within the race itself will always take precedence over the standard each-way terms listed above.

Please Note: Non-runners in a race can affect the Each-Way terms of your bet. For example, if your bet is placed in an 8 runner race, and a horse later withdraws reducing the field to 7, the Each-Way terms will change from 1/5 odds first 3 places to 1/4 odds on the first 2 places only.

Enhanced Prices for Multiple Bets:

F.124 – In cases where we offer an enhanced price for multiple bets, such as doubles or trebles, any non-runners will be treated as void selections. For example, a treble with a non-runner will be settled as a double on the remaining selections. The prices for the remaining selections will be based on the advertised prices and not the enhanced odds.

Dead Heat Rules:

F.125 – If two selections Dead Heat for any placing, half the stake is applied to the selection at full betting odds and the other half of the stake is lost.

If more than two Dead Heat, the stake is proportionally reduced accordingly.

For example, if you have £10 win bet at 10/1 on a horse and it Dead Heats for first place with another horse, then your betting stake is reduced to £5. You are returned £55 (ie: £5 win at 10/1 = £50 + £5 stake returned = £55 returns to you).

In a Dead Heat scenario, what does not happen is that the betting odds are halved. That is not the same thing as halving the stake at all and returns a different figure. If the odds were halved then in the example above you would have a £10 win bet at 5/1 (odds 10/1 halved) = £50 +£10 betting stake returned = £60 returned. That does not happen.

In betting, the Dead Heat rules are such that it is the Stake that is halved not the betting odds.

If it was a three-way tie / Dead Heat then the stake would be reduced to one third of the original stake. So a £9 bet placed at 10/1 would become a £3 bet placed at 10/1.

Resulting:

F.126 Bets are settled in accordance with the official result at the time of the “weigh-in”.

We also pay out double result on UK & Ireland Horse racing bets. This means that if your horse was ‘First past the post’, ie crosses the finishing line first, but for some reason isn’t awarded the race –  we will still pay you out the winnings.

Should your selection be awarded a race or promoted to a place as a result of a Stewards Enquiry (which is announced before the “weigh in” or “winner alright”) this means you will also receive a return for your selection.

Double result applies to all win and place bets in UK & Ireland. First Past the Post is offered for all races in the UK & Ireland. Other international races are settled by the official result.

First Past The Post does not apply to the following markets, events and circumstances:

  • Horses that are disqualified because they failed to ‘weigh in’ correctly.
  •  Horses that are disqualified because they have taken the ‘wrong course’.
  • Where there is an official correction to the result by the judge or our data provider prior to the “weigh in” and any races which are declared void before the “weigh in” for which Rules of Racing will apply.
  • Future Racing bets
  • Races which are declared void.

F.127 – Any bets other than Future Races will be void if the race is abandoned or declared void. If the race is postponed to a future day and the final Declarations stand, all bets will stand providing the venue is not changed. If this is the case all bets will be void.

F.128 – In the event of a false start etc resulting in a race being re-run, the race is not considered to be ‘under starters orders’ and stakes will be refunded on selections not taking part in the re-run with any returns on the remaining subject to a Non Runner % Reduction. The number of runners taking part in the re-run governs the Place terms.

F.129 – If a horse refuses to come out of the starting stalls or refuses to start in a National Hunt race but the official starter deems the horse a runner then that horse will be settled as a loser. Walkovers and void races count as races but any selection involved will be treated as a non-runner.

F.130 – Where a race has been declared a no-race and is re-run, all bets will stand for the Horses that take part in the re-run. Prices laid on a no-race will stand for the re-run race unless there is a non-runner, in which case all bets will be settled as per Non Runner % Reduction.

Reserves:

F.131 – In races with reserves, all participants will be priced. Where reserves do not run, then no % Non Runner Reductions will be applicable.

However if a reserve takes the place of a withdrawn horse (therefore becoming an official runner), but is subsequently declared a non-runner, then a % Non-Runner Reduction may apply.

F.132 – In races with reserves, any bets taken prior to a reserve horse being declared to run and if the reserve was not priced up at the time the bet was placed, then any such bets will be settled on the result ‘without the reserve runner(s)’. Each way bets settled on the result “without the reserve runner(s)” will be based on the number of runners, excluding reserves, that start the race.

Withdrawals Other Than AntePost:

F.133 Where a horse is withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders or is officially deemed by the starter to have taken no part in the race, then stakes will be returned on the withdrawn horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with % reduction factor. The rate of deduction will be based on the odds displayed in the racecard at the time of its withdrawal.

How does a non-runner affect my bet?:

If your selection becomes a non-runner:

F.134 – Single Bet

If you have a non-runner, your bet is void and you receive your stake back. Please note, this does not apply if your bet was placed under Ante Post rules, in which case your bet will be settled as a loser.

F.135 – Multiple Bets

If you’ve placed a multiple bet such as a double or treble your bet will stand on the remaining selections. So a double becomes a single, a treble becomes a double, and so on.

Why is it necessary to have a reduction %?:

F.136 – Reduction %s are made when a horse is withdrawn from a race because it becomes easier for the other runners to win – each horse in the race will have one less to beat so it is more likely that it will win. Therefore an amount of money is taken out of winnings to balance the effect of the withdrawn runner.

F.137 – Bets placed on Antepost markets will be settled as losing bets. Unless the market displays NRNB (Non Runner No Bet), or NRNB NR% applies.

F.138 – Bets placed on the Day of the Race markets will have their stakes returned once the non-runner is declared.

My bet was a winner, what are non-runner deductions?:

For our horseracing markets, we guard against possible non-runners with a system of reduction factors (similar to Rule 4 with traditional bookmakers).

Each horse and selection bet on is allocated a reduction factor, based on its likely chance of winning the race, the % reduction can be a different % depending on the odds of the non-runner and the selection bet on.

F.139 – Should a horse be declared a non-runner, a reduction factor will be applied to the prices of all placed bets. If a selection is declared a non-runner incorrectly then Kwiff reserves the right to void any bets that were affected by the incorrect non-runner or settle bets at the industry starting price, this is Kwiff’s discretion.

How is the reduction factor applied?:

F.140 – After a bet is struck if there is a subsequent withdrawal (non-runner), we will reduce the price the bet is struck at by the reduction factor.

If you want to calculate the new price once a reduction factor has been applied, this is how:

(Decimal odds / 100) x reduction factor of non-runner =  amount to reduce the original price by

Subtract this amount from the original price to calculate the new price.

Example:

– You placed a bet on the horse ‘Tiger Roll’ for £10 @ 7/1 (8.0 in decimals).

– Your stake is £10.

– A horse in the same race is now withdrawn with a reduction factor of 10%

(8.0/ 100 ) x 10= 0.8 (this gives the amount to be reduced from the original price)

8.0 – 0.8 = 7.2 (this is the new price that you will be paid out if the horse wins.)

Your new possible profit will be £62.00 (instead of £70.00 originally)

Please note the following:

The reduction factor work slightly different on ‘Place’ markets. Please view Place Only Betting.

ReRuns

F.141 – In the event of a false start, etc. resulting in a race being re-run, ‘under starter’s orders’ is negated and stakes will be refunded on horses taking no part in the rerun. Returns on the remaining runners will be subject to % Non-Runner Reduction. The number of runners taking part in the rerun governs Place terms.

Walkovers and Void Horse Races

F.142 – Walkovers and void races count as races but any horse so involved will be treated as a non-runner for settlement purposes.

BASEBALL

F.143 – All markets will be settled according to the final result after 9 innings (8.5 innings in the home team is leading at this point)

F.144 – Any extra innings are not considered in any market unless explicitly stated in the offer.

F.145 – If a match is interrupted or cancelled and will not be continued on the same day, all undecided markets are considered void.

F.146 – For Handicap betting, the match must go the full 9 innings, or 8.5 if the home team is winning at the time for bets to stand.

F.147 – For Total Runs markets the match must go the full 9 innings, or 8.5 if the home team is winning at the time for bets to stand.

F.148 – If a hit and an error occur within the same play, a hit will be considered for settlement purposes.

F.149 –  If a player does not show up at the plate again but related player markets have been offered, undecided markets are considered void

F.150 – A foul ball will always be considered a strike for settlement purposes.

F.148 – Where leagues use Mercy Rules (10/15 runs rule) the official result will be used for settlement purposes. Bets on undecided markets will be void.

Mercy Rules:

Leading team leads by 15 or more runs after the other team has batted at least 5 full innings.

Leading team leads by 10 or more runs after the other team has batted at least 7 full innings.

F.152 Player Propositions

  • Batter – Runs + RBI’s: SUM of Runs And RBI`s (Run batted in: number of runners who score due to a batter’s action, except when the batter grounded into a double play or reached on an error)
  • Batter – Hits + Runs + RBIs: SUM of Hits, Runs And RBI`s (Run batted in: number of runners who score due to a batter’s action, except when the batter grounded into a double play or reached on an error)
  • Pitcher – Strikeouts (SO): Number of batters who received strike three
  • Pitcher – Earned Runs: Number of runs that did not occur as a result of errors or passed balls

GREYHOUNDS

F.153 – Bets are settled to the official result called by the judge. Any subsequent disqualifications or amendments made thereafter are ignored for settlement purposes.

F.154 – Bets are accepted on Win or Each-Way prices only.

F.155 – Should a greyhound be withdrawn or is a non runner all bets would be subject to a non runner reduction. The rate of deduction will be based on the odds displayed in the racecard at the time of its withdrawal.
